- American Society of Appraisers – Accredited Senior Appraiser, 1997 (ASA)
- Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors – Associate Construction Estimator 2006
- Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Technical College in Hong Kong
Experience:
Paul is an Accredited Senior Appraiser of the Appraisal Society of Appraisers. He is working towards his Construction Estimator of Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors – Mechanical Division (CEC) designation.
Before joining McNally Valuations in July 2008, Paul worked with Suncorp Valuations in Saskatchewan, after moving to Canada in 1998. He was with American Appraisal China Limited from July 1989.
Paul has been active in the area of Plant, Machinery and Equipment Appraisals industry for over 19 years. His experience includes:
- valuations for insurance,
- valuations for mergers and acquisitions,
- allocations of purchase price,
- valuations for financing and joint efforts and
- valuations for public listed companies in China.
Paul has experience in many industry sectors:
- agriculture, mining, quarrying and oil and gas extraction,
- utilities, construction, manufacturing, wholesale and retail,
- transportation and warehousing, educational services and
- healthcare, accommodation and food services.
His work has taken him throughout Canada, United States, Mexico and Jamaica. In Europe, he did projects in the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Denmark, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic. He has gone even further to Bahrain, Indonesia, Australia, Taiwan, Japan, China, Peru and Suriname. He is one of the first local Hong Kong appraisers to perform valuation in China.
